OLEA Group
OLEA was co-founded in 2017 by two entrepreneurs, Olivier Dubois and Olivier Canuel, with combined experience of more than 30 years in insurance brokering in Africa.
OLEA began operations in three countries: Côte d'Ivoire, Benin and Cameroon. Today the network has grown to 27 subsidiaries and 12 partner brokers across North, West, Central, East and Southern Africa, a geographical coverage unique in Africa, built through a mix of brokerage acquisitions and greenfield openings.
OLEA is both a Latin reference to the Olive Tree, a symbol of peace, and a derivative of the names of the two co-founders. OLEA's full name is "OLivier Et Associés": the collective entrepreneurial spirit, supported and developed by the Managing Directors of each subsidiary and their passionate teams. Our focus is on people serving people.

Leadership
The Team Behind OLEA
Yvonne is the current Chief Executive Officer of OLEA Rwanda. She brings over 20 years of experience in the banking and insurance industries
Derrick is a seasoned insurance and business leader with over a decade of progressive experience across insurance brokerage, operations management, and corporate communications in Rwanda and across Africa.
Amani is an accomplished insurance professional with more than nine years of experience in insurance operations, risk management, claims handling, and client service across diverse sectors in Rwanda.
Ritha is a professional with over four years of experience in the insurance industry. She has built expertise in client relationship management, insurance advisory services, and stakeholder engagement, helping clients make informed decisions regarding their insurance needs while fostering strong and lasting business relationships
Chris is a results-oriented business professional specializing in corporate relations, insurance solutions, and strategic client engagement. With experience spanning corporate relationship management, underwriting, claims processing, and customer service, he has consistently delivered value through strong stakeholder partnerships and customer-focused solutions.
Aliane, in her role as corporate relations executive, she focuses on building and maintaining strong client and partner relationships while supporting the delivery of tailored insurance solutions. Drawing on a background in underwriting, she has developed strong skills in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving, enabling her to effectively navigate complex business needs and foster long-term partnerships.
David is an accomplished insurance and risk management professional with extensive experience in underwriting and risk assessment. He holds academic qualifications in Insurance and has built a strong career in the insurance industry through a combination of technical expertise, professional training, and practical experience.
