He holds academic qualifications in Insurance and has built a strong career in the insurance industry through a combination of technical expertise, professional training, and practical experience.
David began his professional journey with MUA Insurance Rwanda, where he served as an Underwriter for over four years. During this period, he gained valuable experience in risk evaluation, policy administration, portfolio management, and underwriting across various classes of insurance business. His strong analytical skills and attention to detail enabled him to effectively assess risks and provide sound underwriting solutions.
In addition to his academic qualifications, David has enhanced his professional expertise through various specialized insurance and reinsurance training programs. He holds several professional certificates from ZEP-RE (PTA Reinsurance Company) Academy and Kenya Reinsurance Corporation, which have strengthened his knowledge in underwriting, risk management, and insurance best practices.
