Derrick is a seasoned insurance and business leader with over a decade of progressive experience across insurance brokerage, operations management, and corporate communications in Rwanda and across Africa.
He currently serves as General Manager of OLEA Rwanda Limited, where he leads the company's strategic direction, day-to-day operations, and market growth. Concurrently, he holds the position of Director of Communications and Public Relations at the Rwanda Insurance Brokers Association (RIBA), where he shapes the voice and advocacy agenda of Rwanda's insurance brokerage sector.
With a career built on driving operational excellence, scaling business units, and forging strong corporate relationships, Derrick brings to every engagement a rare combination of technical insurance expertise, executive leadership, and strategic communication acumen. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and remains deeply committed to the growth and professionalization of Rwanda's insurance industry.
